The new book exposes how Top Biden Coms staff was “Tip of the Spear” that covers Biden’s cognitive decay
“Many of the Biden team considered that Harris did not put at work and he was also not a very pleasant person. Several remorse of the buyer expressed in silence: they should have chosen Whitmer.”
In Biden’s presidential campaign in 2020, Whitmer represented the “next generation of Biden Democrats,” said Thompson and Tapper.
In addition, former lady Jill Biden suffered Harris after hitting him in the first Democratic elementary school in 2019 to oppose the Bus program of the Department of Education to integrate public schools. “This girl was me,” Harris told the debate stage.

“However, Biden’s advisers did not fully entrusted her. Harris and his advisers felt it. Her assistants had the impression that doing more than the mini minis to help was considered an act of disloyalty in Biden,” said Tapper and Thompson about Harris’s involvement in the 2020 campaign. “Part of this culture was taken to the White House.”
Biden called Harris a “ongoing work” and was not confident that the president of the trainer Donald Trump could be overcome in 2024.
However, the Harris team thought that building the Vice President should have been a priority for Biden’s transition presidency as a “bridge” for the next generation of democratic leadership, as he said in 2020.

A fragment of the book says: “ In the eyes of Harris’ team, Biden’s White House put it to fail. They gave his tasks that his team considered politically toxic, such as dealing with the crisis of migration, he rarely offered to help and punch the journalists on the road. The Harris camp did not understand hostility and residitions.

“From the beginning of his July campaign until the weeks of August, to choose a race companion, chairing the convention, deploying a wave after the wave of ads and, until September, it was clear, it was clear that Biden was a liability,” Tapper and Thompson wrote.
Harris was trapped in Biden’s relentless junction, while trying to walk a good line between Biden loyalty and distanced from his failed campaign, as journalists described.
Although Harris had “great affection for Joe”, his loyalty fired when he said “vision”, he would have done nothing different than they were president.
“There is no thing that comes to my mind,” Harris said an instant attack ad for the Trump administration, as they highlighted the Biden-Harris administration record on immigration, the withdrawal of Afghanistan and inflation.

“What do you do?” Harris asked his team after Biden put a Trump 2024 hat at a Memorial meeting of 11/11 in the Shanksville Fire Station, less than a month before the election.
“This is completely useful. And so unnecessary,” Harris told his team, according to the book. “That would be, he decided on the Harris campaign, the last time he would do a public event with the president before the election.”
However, Biden still wanted a role in the campaign, said Tapper and Thompson, as he saw former presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama talking to the campaign’s rallies.
“It didn’t seem to understand what responsibility had become.”

When one of Trump’s supporters called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage” during a garden rally by Madison Square one week before the election, which must have been a political disposition for Democrats, he became another disaster so that Harris is cleaned.
“The only junk I see floating there is his supporters,” Biden said in a vote zoom call.
While Biden created a political mess for Harris to be cleaned, Trump took the opportunity to claim the narrative, practicing a high visibility vest in a rally in Battlegroleund Michigan, and hosted an improvised press from the front seat of a rubbish truck that was covered in Trump’s Calcomanes.
“At the end of the campaign, he had helped the Democratic Party, but his own candidacy was barely stepping on water. And Albatross that Joe Biden was still heavier,” said Tapper and Thompson.
